The IT Professional's Toolkit for Working on Networks

I was wondering what would be the complete toolkit for an IT professional who goes out to various businesses/jobsites to work on their networks.

Thanks for that, but one question. Is that toolkit only for just a computer repair technician, or also for the network technician who goes out and works on business's networks? Anything from setting up entirely brand new networks to just going there to maintain and troubleshoot their networks. The network guy's toolkit is what I'm looking for.
 
That toolkit is pretty much everything you're ever going to need on the go. Most servers/computers use philip screws so you will need philips screwdrivers of different sizes. Having legitimate copies of OS's and even some Linux live cd's will help with diagnostics. Having a cable crimper/cable tester means that you can create cables and later test to see if they work. You should also cary diagnostic software like SpinRite and Memtest to make sure the computer is working right.
 
A laptop, maybe some crimpers and a punch down tool, but the laptop will be the most vital tool. Perhaps a small set of computer tools, like screw driver and bits, needle nose pliers, but really most of the time that stuff is already in place when you go to a business and do work. Most of the time the cables are already ran and the hardware is in place and you are there to fix it, or set it up, or upgrade to new hardware.
 
You should also have a can of compressed air and a toothbrush... yes a toothbrush trust me works wonders when cleaning the contact areas!
