Alright, so the only thing I know is how to set up dual screens, and I've only heard that you can multi-task on one while gaming on another? How do you even do that? Or I might've got that from an unreliable source :P

***EDIT***
For example, can you game, whilst checking e-mail on the secondary screen? (*With one mouse ;))

I frequently will be gaming while having a news program on second screen - or a ball game. Or I'll have the media player in the opposite screen.

Other than that - I don't really multitask when gaming.

Yes, but only if your game allows you to run it in a Window - rather than full screen mode.

all you do is plug in the second moniter to the second slug on ur video card. if you have an nvidia card just go to nvidia control panel and click multiple display.

As I know there is 2 ways to setup dual screen on Desktop

The first thing is using a graphics expansion module.
Companies like Maxtor provide you hardware which you attach to your comp and it then connect to the monitors. The upside is that you don't have to get fancy graphics card. The downside, not so much available in India.

Steps :

* Buy the hardware
* Install drivers and follow the instructions.

2.2 Using a Graphics card.

Steps :

* Install the graphics card ( in my case the NVIDIA 8800GT )
* Connect both the monitors and start up the system. At this stage only one monitor will actually display the output.
* Install the Nvidia software (you should download the latest from the net, as the ones available in the CDs are quite oudated).
* Go to the nvidia control center and enable dual screen.

Thanks that's what I needed to know. :D
