missing ntldr

hii recently my computer just proper ****ed on me so i did a bulit in destructive system restore when i was doing this though it was going though loads of files saying they could not be opened. once i had finished the system restore my computer restarted and has now came up with the message "missing ntldr press ctrl alt del to resart" so i have tryed to do a system resore again and the same thing happens. I am running xp media edition but i have no Xp cd with my computer. i have also tryed boot cd another site told me to download and burn on to disk but when i inserted this disk when my computer was starting nothing happend. please help me ?

Your gonna have to reinstall Windows, if it keeps happening it could be a faulty CD or HDD

use the criteria 'no ntldr' in the search.

I would also test your HDD.
