Memory Speed Question:

Okay, this has bugging me for awhile now, but isn't really a problem to me since I haven't seen any affects on my gaming, but I have 1066 memory and it only runs at 400mhz.

Its this memory here:

This is the motherboard I'm using.

I have tried putting them in all configurations in the slots and the speed winds up the same.

Any idea how to get it up to 1066?

I changed it in the BIOS to 1066...when I run CPU-Z, it shows Dram Frequency to be only 533.4mhz though.

make sure that the bus speed of the ram is compatable with the bus speed of the mobo.

I have done this step and it works perfectly. You should consider its bus speed.

Here is a further explanation of what MX344 was talking about. Double Data Rate 2 SDRAM processes and transfers data twice per each beat of the system clock (thus the term double data rate).
