Windows 7 window theme change

I know this is a minor detail but it's buggin me.

This is how i have my windows theme on my laptop...

But i want the exit,minimize, and maximize button to look like this...

any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks!!
 
Oh. I thought it was the shape and placement of the buttons as stated.

The laptop may not be able to run Aero, and that's why the OS has shut
it off.

Yeah, your computer can't run Aero.

That's why it wasn't turned on in the first place. :o

Post your system specs, just to make sure.

(what model and brand laptop do you have)
 
hmm..That's weird, I have a macbook pro 2.53 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, 4GB.
When I ran bootcamp, I first had the small icons, but changed some themes around and became the big ones i want.

When I ran parallels to run windows 7...it was the same situation, small icons, but I don't know how to change the icons back to the big icons that I want.
 
Oh dear. The Mac should handle Aero easily.

Did you actually get into the Appearance Settings?

Sometimes there's more than one "Windows Aero" Color scheme.

Make sure to select the very bottom "Windows Aero" color scheme.
