yeh there are loads of servers last time i was on a few months back, i dont play it no more as i prefer the call of duty games myself
Yeah that was annoying,I sure my res -1680x1050 isnt on the graphics menu
Anyone know if a patch has fixed this yet? Its been a while since i last played,more that a year ago infact.

cant you not run it in xp compatability or is that function only with windows7? im playing cod2 in xp service pack 2 compatability cos it wouldnt run

A quick forum search around the web led to the same answer...it won't work!
Don't give up just yet. My friend I used to LAN with on BF2 was running Vista 64 and he never had a problem with it. I think your compatibility issue might be from something else. I will ask him next time I talk to him and see if he had to do anything special to get it running. :good:

I play it fine on Windows 7 x64 so I imagine Vista x64 would work. Also widescreen is now supported thanks to patch 1.5.

Yea I play and it works a-ok on 7 x64. They have probably fixed it to work on vista because it is patched up to 1.6 now. There are loads of servers still up to, lots of full 64 player servers, lots of nearly full, aswell as loads of smaller ones, there are still hundreds and hundreds on at any time

My daughters Dell still has XP Pro 32bit...it just got a new 9600GSO...I am on vacation...Hmm
