genx 4GB USB 2.0 will not format on windows xp pro sp3 or any other pc it won't open and prompts me to format it but when i do it gives me this error windows was unable to complete the format.
i got this usb from a friend so when i plugged it in, it was like this. this is not a virus or something because i have an other usb that works fine.
it's not broken, because i formatted it using disk management after deleting the partition for the memory stick it works fine and i stored 3 GB on it but when i removed it and plugged it in again the same thing happened so i formatted it again using quick format from disk management after deleting the partition and it works but when i removed it everything goes back to the start so please help.
and now i can't delete the partition for the memory stick i don't now why(the disc is copyright protected).
