please DO NOT buy modern warfare 2... This game is just for Cash flow. It did nothing for the community DONT BUY IT! the campaign is shorter than the first. And multiplayer sucks
1. NO dedicated servers
2.No lean
3. NO MODS!

please people watch this video and tell everyone about MW2 and how IW did nothing for the community and everything for console to make $$$ off of little kids begging their parents for the "NEW GAME!" this is not a game, it may be for the console but not for the PC. Dont buy for console.. if ANYTHING borrow it from a friend. If you buy anything, you are supporting this behavior. Infinity ward thinks because they have a big blockbuster NAME they can walk all over a community to make room for more DLC and console players, which means more money.

thanks guys for not supporting this rude behavior. If they want people to buy their game give the people what they want. These are not GAME ALTERING changes. They are convenient changes that make the experience more enjoyable and hack/lag free entertainment.
 
i also just want to say... Infinity ward is destroying the PC community. Although you may not realize it When people start to boycott Pc games... People start torrenting

if you torrent this, you are only killing the PC community. If IW sees people wanting to play the game or only a few PC gamers, they will keep putting less and less effort. But if they see MANY people outwardly boycotting it, maybe, just maybe they will make and effort to improve their PC versions and listen to the community. When people dont buy PC versions and they only torrent it, they are killing a community.

DO NOT SUPPORT IW, FOR CONSOLE OR PC! AND DO NOT KILL PC GAMING!

I have the complete opposite view of this. I think you should buy the game, if you want to. I bought it for the 360, because I didn't like what the PC version was offering, and I absolutely love this game.
 
your just supporting what they want... they want the PC version to be like the xbox version, if PC sales drop too low when no ones yelling for a update.. then they will just stop producing it all together.

No, I'm supporting it because I do what I want. I buy games because I want to play them. Give it some time, maybe they're testing something, the game came out a few days ago, and it's already being crucified.
 
Your opinion of a game, and some one else's opinion of a game is totally different. This thread is pointless you're not going to to convince any body to not buy the game. In fact you will encourage them more then anything.

They gave me exactly what I want, a new call of duty game. Every game has things they people don't like but you just have to live with it or not play it.

I have chosen to live with it as I'm getting the game tomorrow for xbox 360:D

If you already have decided I'm not going to try and sway you. I am just voicing many others and my own opinion on what should be done. I am trying to inform people who havnt decided yet, but I don't have much control so re most I can do is post some info :/ enjoy your MW2

agreed. awesome game.

people need to get over the fact that there isn't any dedicated servers, the online system they have now is still fun.

I can get anything free from school and MW2 is one of them so I didn't pay a penny :cool:

Uh, hello, all games are for cash flow! In reality, the producers couldn't care less about the community. It's all for the money!!

If you think you will like the game, buy it, enjoy, or hate it, and done...I don't do multiplayer out of lan anyway (tho i would love to), so no dedi servers no prob for me lol. Im prob gonna buy it when its under $20.
