Installing Win7 again.

I'd like to know if I can install my win7 again, I forgot to make a partition and everything is just a big mess :/

I have a copy from MSDN, the student thing

Will the Win be activated for the second time? Or will I have to call Microsoft, and will it even activate at all...

Thanks!

I'm pretty sure that if you kept the same hardware as the last install, especially the MOBO or HDD, it doesn't require a Micro$oft reactivation. I've had mine reactivated like 3 times because of that partition mess (and my memory) :P

You can install it as many times as you want on the same computer.

After a reasonable point, though, you may have to call, but for just
one or two times, you'll be fine.

I ran into a trouble :/ During installation I wasnt able to create a new partition from my C drive :/ I formatted it but still no luck :/ How do I make a new partition if it won't let me :/

Windows wonderful partition manager.

You should download and burn GParted live to a disc and use that to shrink your existing partition. Then you can create a new one.

When you got here did you hit Custom?

Then click Drive options (advanced)

Yesss that's what I did, I have two drives, one is sata and another one is ide, it would let me create a new partition for the IDE but not for faster sata. :/
