Pages not running correctly

For the second time in as many weeks, Im having problems with 2 web pages. Yahoo and Photobucket. In yahoo australia, the animated news and features part of the page will not load correctly, no big deal, but still, something not right. On the other hand the failure of photobucket to load is a PITA. I cant upload photos and all I get is a page that resembles a site map, and it takes forever to get to that point. This happened 2 weeks ago, also on a Sunday afternoon. Im running XP with the latest version of FF and also IE. My ISP is bigpond. I know it will eventually work but what is causing the issue and can I fix it myself as I really need to get access to my photobucket account.

Cheers

Try installing Firefox for a browser and see if that works if it is a website problem then there is nothing you can do about it but wait for them to fix it.

Thought I would report back the issue I had so that others might learn from it. The problem turned out to be the modem of all things. Rebooting it fixed the issue. Its a wireless DSL router supplied by Bogpond.

Tell me about it. But Im stuck with them as no one else services the estate Im in. I wanted to PM you about the computer you are looking for but couldnt due to my post count, so thought I would hijack my own thread to tell you. Have you tried the computer markets in North Rocks?? Im not sure where you are in NSW, but the computer markets are quite good and are never short of used PC and laptops. They are only open on sundays at North Rocks High School down near Muirfield Golf Course.
