Windows 7 64-bit

Hi,
My new desktop that i have ordered has windows 7 Professional 64-bit with 4GB(2X2GB) DDR2 800MHz SDRAM. Will this O/S on my desktop run quickly with that 4GB of RAM and the 64-bit O/S? Will i be able to play games that run on XP and Vista 32-bit?

4GB of RAM will run Windows 7 without hesitation, however if you plan on running lots of programs at once or run some memory-intensive apps, you may start to notice it bog down.

I cant see that happening....I was running PS, Sony vegas and COD MW2 with no problems, still had a gig left.

Were PS and Vegas doing anything while playing MW2, or just idle?

If you've ever tried to do some heavy editing in PS then you would know that even 8GB of RAM can become used up pretty quickly.
