Cold Cathode kits

Anyone know of a good website where i can find high quality cold cathodes... i was reading the reviews on the cold cathodes newegg carries.. and people complain that they have been catching fire or not working at all.

^ fail.... honestly ive been looking for good cathodes as well. If you find a site can you post it in this thread please? pref blue or green :D

Logisys=Cheap + Bright. Just stay away from the dual-red cathodes... they seem pink to some people, not me though.

i was looking into red because i have a red LED fan on the front of my PC... the HAF 922...

dont think it would look that good with 2 diff colors..

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produ...03&cm_re=cold_cathodes-_-11-994-003-_-Product those are the ones I got and they are not the darkest of red. They are red with a tiny hint of orange. They work great and it's been 2 months now and there is no problems with them. Don't worry about the color of your fan, because they are so bright they over power the light from the fan. The fan will still look like it is glowing but it will be the color of the cathode. They are more orange then red, but I think they look awesome. They are not as orange as in the pic.

Edit: If you want true red then you need LEDS like this http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16812551002&cm_re=red_led-_-12-551-002-_-Product. I have one of these http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16800888057&cm_re=red_led-_-00-888-057-_-Product in the front of my case and it is true red and puts off a good bit of light.

Wow thats pimp... is that only 2 cathodes?

i really like the green color cathodes also.. humm what color should i get lol

I was going to go with green at first also, but I thought red and black go better together. I like both green and red, but I hate the blue because everybody has them. I think green would look awesome in the haf 922 but the red fans by not looks so good with it.

i can just turn off the red fan.. there is a switch to turn it off the light on the case

And another thing, you were saying you don't want two colors... the orange and the red will blend perfectly if you end up getting one of the orangish ones.
