wireless not working in windows 7

I installed windows 7 and everything works great for a few days. All of a sudden my wireless will not be detected. The device manager is saying the adapter is not connected. I can restore windows/ re install windows and it will work for a few days, then stop working. It's not detecting any routers around my house, so its not my router that is bad. I have a hp pavilion dv9000z with a broadcom wlan. I am up to date with the bios also. any ideas as to why the wireless just stops working?

have you tried windows update? also go looking on HP's site and download the wireless driver for windows 7.
