FTP server

im trying to set up an FTP server on windows server 2003, i set it up successfully , but other people cant connect to my server i do believe its my network security settings would be great if somebody could help me set this up correctly, oh and by the way im using it on virtual PC but if i can get it set up correctly was gonna install it on one of my regular PC drives
 
try connect ftp server on your local machine,if it can connect,so check the connection with client,and if no use,get ser-u instead

tell me if i have something wrong, i put the settings just like the picture posted earlier in this thread and put the ip of my ftp server at the end , do i leave it at 0 or put the ip assigned to it ?


the ip address is the one i assigned in virtual pc , should i put the one of my ipv4 address of my pc instead ?

You only need to port forward on 1 of areas, not all 5+ as for the ip on virtual pc, not sure which internal ip you would forward. Is your internal ip different on the virtual pc than your regular os? Hopefully someone knows about port forwarding on virtual pc, never port forwarded to something on it before.
 
do i put 20 in both of them or 20 in one and 21 in the other, i only have the top one filled in now, and i heard something about port 80 being used for servers , would that be something to try cause other people still cant see my FTP server
