Holiday Times Are Best Time For Computers

Holiday times are supposedly the best time for buying. I'm looking for a system that gets the job done. I have a max of 1500$ but i only want a computer that will get all my school work done and quench my thirst for high quality games. I want it to be able to play crysis on a high quality. I've gone through computer builds online many times and know a general idea of all the components. I'm hoping for a pretty big screen to put up a few pages up at the same time.

I suppose if you already have a keyboard, mouse and dvd burner you could cut those out to stay under budget. This computer is gunna last for a long time!

I'm sorry i forgot to say what i already have. All i have is a awesome logitech g9 and saetik cyborg.

First off i was going to go with i5 because i was told it was pretty much the same but for 80 bucks cheaper.
