Wireless N will only make a difference if you plan on transferring files between machines, it won't give you faster internet speed.

The component you're thinking of is a printer server, basically a little box with a ethernet port and a USB port.

If you don't already have a wireless printer, you will need a print server. All you would need to figure out is if you want the server wireless or actually hooked up to the router with an ethernet cable. The printer would get hooked up to the print server via usb connection.

so basically ur asking if i want the little printer server box to be transmiting my data form the printer to the internet then from the internet to my computer wireless?

When you want to print something from whatever computer you are using at the time, the print job would go to the print server and then it would be sent to the printer.

Please tell me how many computers you have and if anything will connected wirelessly to the router.
