How to remove unuse operating system?

I have current 2 operating system: 1) microsoft window home edition
2) microsoft window

i wan to remove microsoft window which is useless... can some1 teach me???

Do you actually have two operating systems installed or just a boot menu? Assuming it's the later, this should explain what you need to know...

If you have two partitions or two actual occurrences of the OS, things get a bit more complicated.

sounds like you need to edit your c:\boot.ini file. If you overlayed Windows on top of itself it will add a new entry in the boot.ini file which is why it says do you want to load Windows XP or Windows XP (I know it sounds redundant) because that older entry is still there.

i think so because i fail to reformat
