Packard bell Laptop freezing !

Hi guys

been having problems with my laptop for a few months now although i only got it March

Basically whenever i play a media file or app ie. itunes, winamp youtube ect.ect.ect it just freezes and i need to disconnect the battery to start it back up again. im also only running one program at a time so it can be because of running too many apps

tried running various virus and spyware checks but nothing unusual and also reset back to factory settings but im still getting the same problem.

if i take it back to the shop am i still covered ?


any help will be much appreciated


im running vista with 3gig of ram and a 250gig hd with a amd turionx2 processor
 
You may want to check for any driver updates first. It could be a problem with your audio driver.

What model laptop is this?
 
Any luck with the driver update?

Have you tried running a game or media creation software on this laptop yet? Same results?
