How to cool an ancient case?

^^ Ha! Never done something quite so drastic, but I have used this to cool my laptop before:

I have no idea what graphics card and RAM I'm going to get yet. I'm shooting for 4-6 gigs(ddr3) and 1 gig respectively, with the best chip I can afford on the video card. I'm a college student though, and don't know for sure that I have the job I applied for, so my budget may end up pretty tight. I'm just trying to get the universal stuff like cooling and drives out of the way first.

Nah, not yet...this build will be pretty slow for me. Right now I'm still getting myself within a budget (and getting a job established), and figuring out what exactly I want to put in this thing. It all depends on what my income will be in the next month. I live in a small town, so if I don't get the $12/hr job that I'm in the running for, then it's back to begging fast food joints and gas stations for a job.

I do have a bit more on the looks though. I originally thought about repainting it, but then I decided to keep the "retro" ~2000 look of it. Check out the drive I'm using...vintage 2002, lol:

(I'm also probably going to put in one of these...I just like the look of the other one, lol)

The end product will look something like this, but clean, with no badges, possibly with a fan controller, and probably with soft white LED's in the vents:
