People, you're supposed to use this as a template, not to post your builds.

Copy the template, and make your own thread...

Alright, thats good. i actually made this as a template so you just copy that whole post into a new thread that's great.

new build help- In FLA, USA, can run xp or W7, have them from builder, you suggest please. Usage- new gamer here, like racing COD FPS types, online poker player, email, pics, music storage, basic but want to be game ready. Budget 800-1200$ not much over but like to hear the options while I have knowledgeable people's attention. No real preference on shopping site as builder will seek best deals for his self, though suggestions appreciated. Used newegg in past, hate to pay there 15% restock but what can you do I guess. Running 42" and 37" lcd's as monitors, have keyboards etc, just getting tower built, trading for car. Guy's dad owns a shop, has to use intel for MB and cpu, looked at J7/860 but read don't really need quad for my use, maybe better to get best dual core I can and get better video card which I definitely need help with, also he mentioned two 500gb hdd, why not one 1TB instead?RAID, is there a plus to this? Best memory type? does video card need to match cpu, ie gddr3? also read better two 3gb sticks rather than three 2gb etc,ddr2 vs ddr3? I really just want the fastest, most memory I can get, something to keep me going a good few years without replacing much but like upgradeable where I can get it, also 3.0 usb? gonna be necessary before long? I'm 45, a complete idiot, ripped off in past buying etowers etc. Please be gentile. I am most appreciative of you guys out there helping, rare glimpse of decent people not all about profit helping others, though I know your time and education is very valuable, so Thanks ahead of time. By the way I think smart to have info to direct unknowing people in what info to provide to speed up process. I don't know much of anything about overclocking etc or making to many adjustments, bios flashing is alien to me etc, so need something gonna screw together and run games at decent pace, stuck on dial up also, so more playing games alone not on network, if that makes a difference. So using intell for MB and CPU , lcd moniters, what do I have him build me? Run my xp home or go windows7, best video card for money, maybe update to 2nd card later? Thanks AJ update builder says j7 not possible, whats best dual core cpu to go with the best MB, also having difficulty with the LGA info, whats gonna last longest, whats being phased out? be upgradeable without being to much? hopefully lastly guy says he thinks window7 32 bit supports just 4gb memory, is this correct, is this enough memory to last me? Been reading guides etc, but have not helped me much as you can see, lol. Thanks for patience
