What do you think video games will look like in fifty years? Do you think that after a while, you won't be able to tell the difference between a Madden video game and a real Sunday Night game?

Fifty years is a very long time from now... videos aren't even fifty years old right now. In less than forty years we went from Pong to Modern Warfare 2. Fifty years from now I imagine that videos games will be full immersion virtual reality, but who knows.

well, i imagine we will go up into the attic and get down our dusty xbox 360 to show our grand kids MW2 which has UNBELEIVABLY horrible graphics compared to their ps27

It wont even be 10 years before we all have virtual reality suits and become the characters in the games we play..

Agree

Soon we wont even know what a controller is

i dont think this is gonna happen because then games would be to easy. imagine plaing COD when as soon as you see someone they are already shot by you. it would ruin the whole point of video games.

Id imagine instead of actual vitural suits.... I think some thing more like the matrix for gaming etc...

However not using that ruthless plug into the back of your head lol that would suck.

I didnt say that

I meant that instead of using a controller in the future you use a fake gun but everything works on it. Trigger, scope, clips, etc

I think definitely 3d, something like what you would see in a Star Trek movie.

50 years ago they wouldn't have imagined video games like we have now. Right now, we can't imagine video games that will be there in 50 years. I think that if you make it fully immersive, the fun will go out of it, it will be like a wii, but more tiring.

People want to relax when they play a game, not run about getting sweaty and tired, which if you made CoD totally imersive for example, is what would happen, it is like being in the army for real, which would suck for alot of people :P

Virtual reality will be cool...immagine stepping into a future Call of Duty game on Veteran mode:D
