windows installation error

I bought new lap top with no windows installed which i had to install. I made him boot from IDE - CD ROM or DVD ROM and it loaded the XP but suddenly it showed to me STOP: 0x0000007b (0xF78D2524, 0xC0000034, 0x00000000, 0x00000000) and didn't continue. I tried many times but it just only shows this. Tried to install linux didnt let me. Tried to check errors with a bootable error checker but couldt load fully any cd. I am desperate dont know what to do. Please help me
 
"New" with no OS? Please explain.

Sounds like the hard drive is bunk. Did you try a Live version of Linux? They run straight off the CD.
 
Bought the Lap top with no OS. What's not clear. The hd wasnt formated. They havent installed me an OS because i told then not to... On the Linux CD there is install Linux or start linux. I started but the screen freaked up and didnt start it. I think something with the grafic card driver is not good.

Maybe you should go back to where you got the 'new' laptop and get them to check it for you and put on the o/s.
 
dudes you dont get it dont you. Let me explain to you. When you buy new hard disk, Is it formated? No!!! It's like you buy a new hd and try to install OS and you get this error. If you dont get it now then you are retarded

ok ok dude. i am really peaced off with my lap top and i show my anger here. Please forgive me for being that unkind. And as i said when you buy a new hard disk, is it formated?? No for sure! So this lap tops were not formated and hadnt installed OS so i decided to format it and install OS but it showed me this error
 
Just completely format your HDD with the DOS tool called KILL DISK 4.1 which you boot from the USB stick and the problem should be solved.
