New tv

My CRT TV just broke down and I want to buy a new LCD. Can you tell me which are the companies to look for and which are those to avoid?

Samsung is awesome! You can't go wrong with them for a new TV!

As for bad brand..I dunno, I'm pretty much a Samsung guy!

True. Same could be said for Sony and LG.

SHARP is said to have good stuff too, along with Vizio.

Yep, true..LG and Sony are good too!

Sharp Aquos line is quite good for sure!!

Vizio--while i had no experience with them, until I went to a friends place in the US.. they make one hell of a beautiful LCD.

The color/sharpness/contrast was excellent! and when I read up about them, turns out they have some of the most competitive prices and the sales figures are astounding!!
