64bit Slow Login

I've noticed on my boss's computer and on other 32bit machines that logging in is just instant. However, on every 64bit machine that I've used, including my own and my previous machines, it takes a good 15-20 seconds to log in. Is there a good reason for this? I have checked my start up folder... Disabling everything doesn't do any good.. heck, I tested it on a clean install too.

64-bit operating systems require stronger computer and therefore its totally normal they login longer then 32-bit operating systems.Because they have more resources to turn on.Besides...if after 15-20 seconds of waiting computer works great, whats the problem???20 seconds is really not long:confused:

By no means do I really care to wait... I was just making sure that it wasn't a problem on my end. I like to cleanup what I can on my computer.

Your explanation makes total sense. Thank you for the quick reply :-)

you should try to disable the indexed files in your OS Drive.
that should give an extra boost on startup.

Good idea Bodaggit23,
if its that the way that you login X2BreakOfFate thats is normall because
all your permissions are loaded from the Active Directory Main Server.
