Windows 7 AV and Firewall, etc

I just got a windows 7 home premium laptop and am wondering what the best freeware antivirus and freeware, etc. programs are for this OS.

I currently use Antivir for my XP rigs, will the free versions still work? Does spybot S&D and malwarebytes work?

What are my other choices?

It looks like Comodo firewall has a windows 7 version and one site says antivir supports W&, but I just like to double check these things...

I checked the sticky out before I posted, but just wanted to double check about W7 compatibility...
