Computer Cases

YOU HAVE A PC-P50R?!?!?! Dude, I freakin' love that case, just as cool as the PC-P80R! Sadly, I have a Raidmax Aztec... I'm hoping to get an Antec 902, Lian Li Lancool, or HAF 922 to upgrade over it.
For my next rig, I'm getting either the HAF 932 or the up-and-coming HAF X!
 
modded (actually looks like crap tbh from the front because no front bezel because of airflow) Aspire x-infinity.

However, once I have the money, am going to respray it, stick a load of old components in, get a new hard drive and put that in and a some silent fans and stick it in my room as a server with some old parts and get an Antec 300 for my main case because they are dirt cheap here, £30 for a new one...however that is still probably quite a ways off yet :P

I've only ordered it tonight so it should be here tuesday, i've heard a lot of good reviews about it so hopfully it will live up to lian li's reputation.

you got it shipped :eek: If you don't mind me asking, where abouts in the country are you and how much did that cost to ship? I got my power supply from them and couldn't go pick it up so had to fork out £10 on shipping, dread to think what sort of shipping cost you would have been whacked with for a case

I ordered it from Ebuyer. I only showed that website for a picture as it was quicker to get too, rather then looking over Ebuyer for the case. The postage was about £10.

they can be, but their range is limited, their staff don't know too much and (this one is a personal thing) for myself I prefer Overclockers and Scan because I don't pay shipping. OcUK because I am a forum member, Scan because I live close enough to pick it up from their shop.

to the OP, that is a BIG leap in cases, lian li is pretty much the best of the best when it comes to cases, and that one is super high quality lol nice buy, i got a azza fantom 900 maybe ill get a pic l8r

Thanks, It looked a really good case when i first seen it although a little expensive. As the computer is for gaming i wanted to get a good case.

I couldn't comment as i don't know anything about the case although it looks interesting(it does look expensive though). I wanted a case with a window at the side so i could see in, the PC-P50R looked perfect for what i wanted it for.
 
Yah the P50R is an awesome case. The X2000 just overprices for the features that people would rarely use on it.

If you have the money for it, you have more money than sense, so will get it for the jaw droppingly good looks and for the sheer size of it, and if you are spending that much on a case, for bragging rights too. It is like getting dual 5970's, completely pointless, but have massive bragging potential, and look hella sweet
 
This is my current case for the rig I have now. I like the look, but it is really bad to work with. I replaced the side fan with a blue one and got a blue LED fan for the rear. The reset button doesn't light up anymore, and sometimes the power button light flickers. If I didn't have a slim hard drive on the top bay, my video card (HD4870DK) would not fit properly. The PSU held up for about 3 years before it died. Replaced it with an OCZ StealthXstream 700W PSU. I also concealed the drive bays. (Pics are in sig)
