windows 7 pro and profile screen

Be damn if i can figure it out. gotta be something stupid im overlooking. have it set up for sleep mode 1/2 hour. if i don't touch the screen for maybe two minutes it takes me back to the log-in screen. i would really like to change it to maybe at least 15 min. that would work.

sounds like the screen saver is set for a shorter time than the sleep. try adjusting the time before it comes on, and uncheck the box that say 'show logon screen when exiting screen saver', or something like that.

Thats what i did. figured out where yesterday. don't use a screensaver and never did. mine is none.
desktop , right click then personalize. screensaver was on bottom right.).

screensaver (mine is none. changed to 15 min.
also a checkbox for display logon screen. had it and wanted it.

IIRC, even if you have the screen saver set to none, it'll still blank the screen anyway. You have to set it to not even use screen saver.

i run win 7, and on it there is "none" and "blank". blank is the one that is just a black screen, but none is ... well, none.

i just wanted it to back to the profile screen. i wanted a longer delay. found and set it for 15 min. 1/2 later it sleeps. just could not figure out where.
