4GB ram on xp 64 bit (3.19 usable)

well I can't figure out why it isn't using all 4 GB of ram. it's made for 64 bit.

here are the stats

CPU

: Intel® Core 2 Quad 2.83Ghz Q9550 CPU w/Fan
Motherboard : ASROCK G31M-S Intel G31 Chipset, PCI-Ex, 2 PCI
Memory : 4GB DDR2 PC6400 800Mhz Memory
Video Card : 1GB GeForce 9400GT PCI Express TVout/DVI
Hard Drive : 500GB 7200RPM Ultra Fast Serial ATA300 Hard Drive
DVDRW/CDRW : 22X LG Dual Layer DVD+/-RW Drive w/NERO
Network Card : 10/100Mbps Fast Ethernet Network Adapter
Sound Card : 6 channel HD Sound Adapter
Case : CoolerMaster Elite 310 450watt Power Supply
Ports : 6 USB 2.0 Ports, Serial, Parallel

Do you by any chance have the maximum memory option enabled in msconfig? if you do you will need to uncheck that option, apply and restart.
 
The manual's BIOS-section might also be of help...

"Memory Remap Feature
Use this item to enable or disable memory remap feature. Configuration
options: [Enabled] and [Disabled]. The default value is [Disabled]."

nope, already checked earlier today.

oh and 64 bit isn't made for SP3 I don't think
