Installing Hard drive

Hey guys, resenty brought a dell gx280 sff desktop, completly new to installing hard drives, was wandering if it was possible to install a hard drive from my old Emachines desktop. I noticed the plugs attched to the hard drive on the Emachines PC are different to the ones on my dell gx280 sff, does this mean I can't do this?
 
Most likely not. The emachines computer probably has IDE connections where as the Dell would have SATA connections.
