I'd go for this toshiba if you are in america.

Toshiba is a much better company overall than hp and it has an ever so slightly larger screen and cheaper. Also, having 3gb of ram isnt that great - it's best to have equal pairs - and the toshiba has 4 gigs. It's not out yet but you could call bb and ask how long is "soon".

And since you mentioned them having microsoft works, i'd uninstall it when you get the laptop and install openoffice.

HPE-150t Desktop will be better because of that you want to play WoW and Modern warefare 2 . I don't a laptop is designed for game.

I don’t think a laptop is designed for game.

I want something thats portable i mean i can just buy a seperate monitor and keyboard and mouse and stick it on the laptop when im at home. But doesnt the specs on the dv6t Quad edition better than the HPE? BEcause the proccesssor and graphics card is better but the ram is only 4 gigs. COuld the dv6t play MW2 smoothly on high graphics?

i pretty sure unless ive missed something your gonna have a problem playing mw2 and crysis on those grahics cards at high settings, may be ok on medium/low settings, they are mid end cards and crysis and mw2 are high end games your may need a better gpu but even then crysis may sturggle to run
for the money your spending and assuming your in the US try

Laptops can play games fine. My asus was $1100 last summer and it plays crysis on all settings at very high at native (besides anti-aliasing and anisotropic filtering). I'm always in a different place (not just room, building) when I want to game so it's extremely convenient and I can just go over to a friend's and link with no hassle. Laptops are the future.

Well old computer that i sold to get this laptop had all these specs:
Pentium 4 2.7 overclocked
2gb of ram
geforece nvidia 9400 Gt 1 GB
And i played modern warefare 2 on medium settings and was ok not the BEST but was playable to a good amount. So is the internal nvidia 320m graphics card better or worse than the nvidia 9400 gt 1 GB? and what desktop graphics card would you compare to be as good as the geforece 320M intergreted?
