cost me about $1900 - $2000. what do you people tihnk of it?

Good for gaming and multitasking?

If your going to be gaming, look into LG or HP monitors. I work at best buy and i'm telling you, the picture quality is at least 20X better than the acer monitors

its all good then, not gonna spend time buying good keyboards all feel the same to me. Only want one with the the disable windows button key. :) and ok cool then diffo buying this

I'd say full steam ahead on that purchase as well. Seems like a quality rig. Maybe a reason why a 1TB drive would be better instead of two 500GB would be you could have everything in one spot, instead of having two separate drives. But I could also see pros to using two as well. Perhaps more of a user opinion?

pretty much gaming, using for setting up my own network around the house, since i'm studying networking in uni. Also for web design, sometimes programming. Multitasking i guess to round it up, and i'd prefer 2 x 500g HDD incase one gets dmg or fails. So i'd have one of em to work on while the other one is in repair etc

i feel the same way about keyboards. they feel essentially the same, although some have non-plastic keys and some have special gaming-specific keys, which are nice. that rig looks superb. what games are you going to play?

Looking at max cod mw2, l4d2, gta4, starcraft 2 (when releases), combat arms, Battle field: bad company 2 those. mainly fps and online RPG games.

cod mw2 is great. that rig should be good for those games... bf: bad company 2 looks awesome. gta4 is insanely cpu intensive but you should be good to go with no problems.

make sure you try a dx11 game too and see the effects... then decide if it was worth it or not. dirt 2 looks awesome in dx11. can't wait for more games to come out!!

man, going up to that from your sig should be a great experience. i know i was blown the hell away when i upgraded from onboard hd 3200 to my hd 5770... assassin's creed never looked so good.

it was extremely awesome, although it can get very repetitious... but assassins' creed 2 fixed ALL of that! it is supposed to be assassin's creed 1 only a million times better. plus, the story line is actually kind of cool.worth a try at least. it looks great graphically and you should be able to max it out.
