This doesnt include OS, Keyboard, mouse, or monitor. Let me know what you guys think. Im open to other ideas since im not really on a budget but I do want to get this bad boy built in a timely manner.

Looks good, but honestly I don't think SSD's are OS-worthy just yet, IMO. They often take quite a bit of maintenance to keep them fast. If you really need a super fast OS drive, I'd just get a couple of good optical drives and RAID them. Samsung's Spinpoint F3 drives are amazingly fast, and fairly inexpensive.

40GB isn't a lot for a OS and programs either. You could attempt to install all of your programs to the Seagate, but many programs will only install to the C: drive.

Looks fine to me.
The RAM seems a little expensive, you can find DDR3 2000 at $200 - 230, why getting DDR3 1600 at $200?

I'm kinda sipping some haterade cause I cant afford one at he moment BUT arent you a little worried about the drivers? Last i checked they still had not gotten them right yet. Anyhow that is going to be a sick rig.

nice rig, whats the SSD drive do? or what is it never heard before o.o

Solid State Drives. They are much faster than HDDs as the have no moving part.

I'm with Cams on the card though. I tend to avoid things until they are at least a generation old. Cheaper and far more stable. Hell, my HD4870 is still running things on highest settings with no problem.

Just found out from the person sitting next to me in class, your case is "flimsy as hell."

You could save a few bucks on the RAM.

Is it just me or is the PSU kinda pricey o_O

Actually, not that I check, it's a few dollars cheaper than on newegg even without the free shipping.

Newegg = $220 after rebate, plus $12.37 shipping
Amazon = $213 after rebate

So ~$20 cheaper. Good find!

Yes I am concerned about the drivers however, I dont plan on doing the eye infinity anytime soon. If for some reason I cant get my hand on the 5970, ill just have to settle for 2 5870s...
