Need to build a new computer

I have not been in the desktop computer scene for a while. I want to build a system that is Intel based, has decent sound and is pretty quick. I have built numerous computers, but it was at a computer shop over 4 years ago. Any help would be appreciated.

well you won't need that :) what do you think of the build then?

Looks good. I would like to get a Gigabyte board, dual hard drives for backup purposes as I deal with alot of finances and pictures. Also would like to get a BLU-Ray player/burner. Should have said that at first.

One thing I didn't notice is Linkin93 forgot a power supply with all his components. Here is a decent power supply. I have this one in my present system and it has served me well:

OCZ StealthXStream OCZ600SXS 600 Watt Power Supply - $75

Also if you wanted to save a little money on purchasing two hard drives you could go with two 320 gigabyte hard drives instead of the 750 gigabyte hard drive:

Western Digital Caviar Blue WD3200AAKS 320GB - $50

I would avoid OCZ DDR3 RAM. I have heard bad information about the quality of OCZ DDR3 memory. OCZ DDR2 RAM is good quality, but I know you are not looking at Double Data Rate 2 memory.

Take a look at some of this Patriot DDR3 memory:

Patriot Viper 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 1333 (PC3 10666) Dual Channel Kit - Retail - $104

Th Phenom II 955 Processor is really good quality and less expensive than the Phenom II 965:
