I know that that Microsoft crippled the hell out of starter, and I want an upgrade. Anytime is included on every system with Starter, Correct? The site seems to point to this; Microsoft Site that is. It also says that you can buy a key from an electronics store. Personally, All I saw on the BestBuy site was a DVD-Rom for Anytime Upgrade. If any of you know what they mean, and how much it costs, please get back to me before I snap and go on a murderous rampage. Thanks. :)

My understanding was - Windows 7 Starter is for Netbooks - b/c they are very limited in function and hardware.

If you want an upgrade - I think you need to get Anytime - which is selling for around 75 bucks on Newegg. if you want Home Premium

Most netbooks are more than capable of running Home Premium. I don't know why they loaded such a crippled version on them, but even I tested Windows on my D150 while I had it (typical Atom N280) and it ran fine.

As for the actual upgrade, I think Jamin43 is right. That's probably the cheapest method.

Well, I'm saying that It says to buy a *key* when you go to the store to buy it, they sell DVD roms, Not keys.
