I was in my computer and everything worked fine.

Tried installing 3Dmark03, to do some simple testing. All of a sudden the computer shut of with the blue screen of death!!

Now, everytime I start the computer, it only reaches until the place where you see the windows xp logo and the blue strip underneath it is loading and all of a sudden a you see a glimpse of BSOD and it restarts, EVERY TIME!

I tried resetting my previous overclocks, it is currently at stock speed everything. Bit still no luck.

Please help

Well, LKG actually, my bad. Last Known Good Configuration - it will be a boot option on the same screen as Safe Mode is.

Also, how did you revert to your original Clock? Did you reset BIOS by unplugging and removing the MoBo battery? Be sure to press the power button after doing that to discharge the capacitors and drain all the power left on the Board.

Hmm... Reinstalled Windows (Windows 7 this time) and now it works again.

Anyone know what the issue might have been?

Sorry I gave ideas and ran last night - GF was over and brought dinner. It's hard to tell without taking the specific error codes that are on the BSOD and doing a web search on them, which obviously you weren't able to do given the immediate restart. BSOD could mean either a hardware or software problem, but because of when it happened (right after you installed 3DMark), my guess would be some sort of software error that it caused and it apparently created a loop. One of those things we just won't know for certain I guess.

Have you re-installed 3DM on the W7 install?

Nah haven't had time to reinstall 3dMark03. Just had time to install necessities and now sitting at work.

Will try after work
