Good Power Supply or Not?

Really, you want a quality unit over an "eye catching" one.. What sorta specs is it powering? Need to know that sorta info before recommending anything.

the last one, because it is the only good branded one.

or this one http://www.svc.com/s75q-b.html

A reference design says little Bomber. Similarly to reference nvidia designs, the implementation is what is important, the components etc. However that unit looks fine, but the reason i said it was unsuitable is because for $180 why would you get it when the COrsair 850W is $120?

Also we have no idea of his specs, so to suggest a PSU without that is irresponsible.

Of course, but it would have been better to say that system specs and etc would be helpful, you cannot simply state something is unsuitable without knowing what sort of system the OP has. Plus that xigmatek unit is available on newegg for $154(which is cheaper than the comparable HX series corsair)

And the reference design says quite alot, if a manufacturer is going to start with a quality design, it would be stupid to follow up with cheap components. Xigmatek has been getting some good ratings in the power supply area recently. Just as with xClio, who has been shown to produce a quality unit yet you always are trying to refute so(just because they have a 1 year warranty...its just a way to keep MSRP low while still delivering a quality product)

This is whats in the mail on its way once I pick a power supply. I just want a better looking PSU. Everyone will through in what they think is better but thats not what I'm looking for. I want to know if any of those PSU's I posted at the top are good for what I need. I like the lit connections and blue light fans etc. The sight doesn't have reviews on them so that's why im posting it.

Those kingwin units arent that great, just because they look cool doesnt mean they are any good, and a good power source is essential.

Also, with two ati cards its crossfire, not sli;)
