cod 4 modern warfare error

Ok i bought the game just 3 days ago, i install the game etc, it updates etc etc etc. i try to join a game my game crashs. like from full screen it changes to window mode black screened with a error message which i cant even see cause of the windows black screen, so all i can do is press enter to accept the error.

anyone have any idea?

hmm i say you probably need to re-install it again

Uninstall it...run ccleaner to remove any crap left over from the instalation...re-install MW and the patches....then download this and update Direct X.

yep up to date and i reinstalled 3 tiems which is epically weird

Did you install your graphics drivers from windows update or directly from ATI?....this begs me to ask the question....

Could just be that theres issues with cod4 playing on a 5850...because its so new,...People are still having issues with the 5770s aswell from what ive read.
