Built a new PC about 2-3 weeks ago. Got all the parts from OldEgg. I opted not to get a video card at this time and only (1)one hard drive which saved about $300. I will be adding these within a month along with a LP to MP3 adaptar so I can cheaply move my 4 track recordings to CD or MP3.

Here are the parts I used.

Yeah nice machine :):good:

Might want to work on that cable managment though as it will restrict your airflow.

Thanks, my first build`, although I based it on the $647 PC from MaxPC.

The cables are somewhat better today after I put in the fan control I tie-wrapped some better. I have alot of extra cables from the PWR supply. It's a big case though and there is lots of space on the side of the cables. I'm not overclocking. Current cpu temp is like 39C.

That was a good article. I based most of my first build off Max PC's recommendations. Somehow it totaled over four grand. I should have paid more attention to their budget build stuff, instead of their Dream Machine. This was back in 2007.
