Final Fantasy XIII - anyone else excited?!

I am so so excited, however, have no money at the moment so won't be getting it yet :( Will end up going to a friends to play it probably
 
Sadly no....after FF9 they sold out to such a point its not worth buying a console for anymore.

I thought FF10 was pretty good. I preordered my copy and plan to pick it up tomorrow. Been waiting for years for this to be released.

yeah i want to get it im pumped about it really looking forward to it i dont have any copy reserved i didnt want to reserve it and it snow the day it releases lol and have to drive in snow but im gonna try to farm for it at stores i know its gonna sell well but i was gonna try to race to walmart to get it :)

Eh 10 lacked a lot of what made the FF genre great if you ask me. Then the "sequel" was like a softcore porno. I wanted to lock the door when ever I played it because I felt dirty.

you? feeling dirty? woah. it must be bad. lol. i played 3, 7, and 10. 7 was really good, but i didnt like the fighting style. 10 was my fav. but if you want a REALLY good rpg game play legend of the dragoon for playstation 1. its amazing
 
I'll probably get it but not for a while, I'm with twist, 9 was the best in recent memory 10 wasn't bad, 10-2 was horrible, didn't play 11 and 12 wasn't very good.

legend of dragoon was amazing, however, is it up there with FF7, 8 and 9, deffinately not imho
 
Plan on getting it...

But since we are talking about classics did anyone here play Star Ocean 2 or Suikoden 1 and 2??

Course all 3 are classics. I still even have the discs out...the only 3 games I don't play on my emulator because its just not the same.
 
Got FF13 today, theres a lot of movie scenes to it, takes a while before it gets better. Ive played 3 hours so far and it still seems to be going too slow for me at the moment, hopefully it will get better as a progress. The graphics are amazing though, best ive seen!
 
yeah i got ff13 today as well im enjoying it so far but not sure what the story will be like still trying to see how things hold up
