this lady my mom works with computer got a virus were you cant do anything like system restore. so i was going to reinstall xp as a repair install so no data is lost but we need the key for the os, so can you like call hp and get the key or is there anyway to get it back?

i already started the repair and you cant go back. and yeah avg 9 free removed the bug and it was in the rundll32.exe and thats why i had to repair it cuz it was gone

Doing a repair install won't erradicate the infection. You will have to do a fresh install to do that by formatting the drive.
