creating MS Access Database

Im a beginer using microsoft access,l ive only played around with it for like 30 min total and created one little thing. dont know what else to call it.
but now i need to create a real database. it seems like it will use just basic access features as it is a simple sounding database but i wouldnt know where to start.
the database im building is for user lists of different computers. and then print those lists out in our given standard format, im assuming exporting to ms word should be easy enough hopefully, if it works like that. i need it to be able to search by computer name listing users on that machine, user names listing computers on which they have accounts , type of users listing who are admins, who are general users as a full list or per computer.
it seems simple enough to do this, doesnt sound to complicated, but im just a beginer so i might be wrong.

any help, examples, tutorials, and any other knowledge that would be helpful would be greatly appreciated
thanks

yeah i know, and i learned a lot from googleing. i know how to use access now and create different items, such as forms, tables, queries, etc, but im still not sure on how to set this up. do i need to make one big table, or a table for each computer, or a table for each user. i dont know what the best setup would be for the database to get complete reports without repetition. thats where im getting lost. little things like that. just hoping for some guidance.

Access is something i found very hard. I have not played with it in years. I do suggest going to a good professional bookstore. read the preface in the front and see who the author is catering to. I would look for something like intermediate to advanced. these books are very expensive usually. You can always get the ISBN number in the front or back. with the ISBN number you can go on line and shop for that book from that author. Of all the microsoft office software i found it to be the hardest to learn.

Or try a library; it's free. Library has tons of computer books. Might be a
waiting line for the newer ones. When I was trying to get a web design book,
there was 160 people in front of me.

its exploiting all the features and studying for Microsoft Certification is.
If your toying with Project management, Excel and Access it can get deep quick. Want to make money with it then get good with it at a professional level.
Mine was Project and Primevera.

Hi,
Create the objects that will make up your database. These objects may include tables, forms, queries, macros, or materials, such as charts, that can be linked to from another file.
Thanks
