Failed to register xp2 now cant work pc

Hi all
I have re loaded xp onto a blank Hdd all ok with key ect
put in my info to register but would not connect to m soft server so thought I would try later as the option is.Now it says have to register to log on!!!
Dont the fools realise if I cant log on I cant fire up 3g dongle to retry!
Ive got xp on but I cant get at it --any Ideas without re loading as I have done in past?

You should be able to register by calling a 1-800 number.
