Barton 2800 and 1080p videos

Hi! I have an old computer, and I want to make it HD compatible. So I have an CPU Barton 2800+ and I want to buy 2 GB DDR at 400 mhz and CL3. I also buy an Asus 4650 for Agp with 1gb video Ram and some good performance... Do u think I can run the most demanding 1080 movies on this machine? :D

Hmm, idk, i cant see why not, cause the 2800 is still a decent cpu, runs at like 1.9? or something rather, so its by no means slow...

I think it could do it, but i wouldn't invest so much money into an old rig.
 
I cant see why not,the 4650 is quite decent actualy...is the machine a brand make or home built? because you could always overclock if its home built to ge that extra performance.
 
I don't know how to overclock, I only use a BIOS high performance mode option, and Barton is a one core CPU. Can it keep the pace with the modern 4 cores and even 8 cores??? :) Or maybe 1 good core is enough for 1080HD?
