5870 & Napolean Total War

Anyone know how it performs? After realizing the gtx 295 performs like crap in the game, I'm buying a 5870 not just for the game but because my mobo only supports crossfire not SLI.

I was about to give it a try but some people are saying it's not really worth to buy it so i decided not to spend my money on it.

I know people who were running Empire: Total War very well on video cards slower than GTX 295

I ran Napolean on my 8800gtx better then my 295, makes no sense, and I'm not alone with the problem.

My friend has a 5850 and it plays awesome on it, so a 5870 should be better obviously

Thats unbelievable ! How could it run slower than 8800GTX ? Maybe it is driver problem ?

Hmm the gtx 480 is looking juicy, but i need to get rid of this 295 first.

You should be able to sell it easy. there are a lot of people still buying them.

Maybe If I didn't live in Upper Michigan. I put it up for 425$ on Craigslist but I doubt it will sell. Only used it for a month.

Try ebay. They do charge if you sell an item but you might have higher chances of selling the card. Also try forums too for example this one. You never know who might need it.
