wide display view - vista

Hello,

I have recently installed a business version of vista. My system has became slower than before and I don't have the real display size at all, since everything looks wider than actual.
Nothing change also with changing the resolution option of display menu.
 
What are your system specs? You probably don't have enough ram to run vista as it uses more memory just to run. To fix your screen resolution you most likely need to install the video driver. I would highly recommend going to XP or building a new machine if your system specs are old.

that is a dell Inspiron 1545 , Intel core 2 due, p8600, 2.40GHz, ram:2.00GB , 32-bit system type.
 
Then you should have no problems running vista, you may need more memory though. Look in device manager to make sure all drivers are properly installed.
 
Thanks a lot. I found the right driver by searching "video driver" and checking the device manaeger. :)
