First time building a pc. Need help. Build a gaming pc. wondering if this will work and my price limits is $800 and this set up is $800 and i really like it. plz tell me if it will work or better hardwear for lower prices and or better for the same price. all from ncix.

i wasn't able to pull up all of your links. for the most part it looks good. im sure that some one one here will suggest a different board and processor. i wasn't able to look at the board but the processor is a socket 775.why the the wd blue? what about a wd black?


and im sure its not a good idea to double post.

look on newegg for cheaper prices. if u don't live in north america though too bad. the comp is not very good to be honest. DO NOT GET PENTIUMS. they are obsolete for a reason

newegg does ship to canada. still the pentium e6500 is not a good choice.

yes it is double the pentium's price but it is SOO much better and is a MUCH smarter purchase. if you are willing to get an lga1156 mobo, the i3 is cheaper but better.

nope. only works with lga1156

People! STOP bashing the pentiums! They are not the old ones. these are new wolfdale based ones, and intel didn't make much noise about them.

Heck the newest pentiums are just renamed Core i3 processors. the E6500 is very good for the price, thank you very much.

ummm completely wrong. the intel pentium dual cores are NOT the same as the i3. the i3 is 32nm the pentium is 45nm
