OK let me explain. I am trying to figure out how to get wireless internet and internet to a desk computer running the internet to the comcast modem to the wireless router to a network modem then a desk top computer. Every way i tried the desk computer wouldn't have internet. Can any one help me with this?

the desktop is a county computer and they pretty much block anything fun on the internet and the internet goes through the county server making it very slow. Now they way it is set up right now is the internet come in the comcast modem then goes to what I am calling a network modem. It has a bunch of plug ins on the back of it. From there is goes to the desk top computer. Thus the desktop has internet. We want to put a wireless router in there before it goes through the county so that we can have wireless. Hope that better explains it. How can i do that?
Or if a I can't can I buy another cable modem hook it up to another cable and hook the wireless router up there?
