The long story
I Have(had now 2x2Gb) Corsair Dominator 3x2GB DDR3 1.6GHz so one of the 3 sticks stopped working(reason unknown).Since I live in India and my parents in UAE So the RAM was bought from UAE so no corsair office here so I gave the RAM to the Retailer for RMA.
And since the past three months i havent recieved any notice from the retailer even though after a lot of calls.
So after an angry and heated argument between me,my parents and the branch manager

In UAE you only get the same RAM in packs of 3 you dont get single 2GB sticks.
He got really angry and told me that he would give me a 2Gb Stick from the pack of three and he is saying he is pretty sure it wont work since they only work in a set.
Logically There seems no reason it wont work (cause same frequency same brand both of them dominator only from different packing) but I got a bit scared.
So would it work please tell me uregently cause tomorrow i am leaving for india and i want that RAM please tell me
