incessant restart in windows vista!help pls

hello folks!i do use a notebook running on windows vista buissnes edititon which have been restarting several times during the normal operation of the system.there was always an error message of 'operating system not found'during the booting process of the system and i use the ALT+CTRL+DEL to boot it to normal windows but afterwards it just suddenly restarts.i then used the safemode to boot and it boots fine on that but also just restart too.i then repaired the operating o/s thinking it will solve the problem which has not.pls i look forward to any recommended solution.thanks

The most common things are:
a) You are not booting to a system disc.
b) The MBR is damaged.
c) Your Hard Disc is on it's way out.

Most likely we can discount (a) but check your boot order and that you have nothing in your other drive if you have one, also USB. You could try a repair regarding the MBR but more than likely the Hard Disk may be failing.

thanks buddy.so are u recomending d change of the hard disk n as for the mbr,d recovery disk also has some sony propiety applications with it.pls do i use d "/fixmbr"
switch as in that of win xp.
