Hi all 
My old Hp is now running slower then xmas 
My gaming rig died long ago and now I want a pc to use on my 720p 50in plasma.
The main uses for the pc will be downloading and watching movies,serfing the web,possible audio playback. I no longer a pc gamer but would like it if the pc could run starcraft2(not out yet but blizzard is easy on pc's). Budget prefer to be close to $500 but could go up to $750 PC will need a HDMI output and quiet as possible too.
I do not know much about dual core,quad etc. I don't plan on upgarding much and would prefer not to but am willing to put in a video card to have HDMI. I also have a gig of ddr2 ram and an old HD laying around...
Any particular brands to stay away from? I am a HP fan but they are pricey compared to some pc's and do not off hdmi. I have considered building but am affraid it will get costly.
